A Sailing and Diving Adventure

There aren’t many diving live-aboards that can not only bring you to some world-class dive sites, but also provide you with the serenity and peace that comes with sailing. If you’ve never sailed before, you’re in for a treat! Juliet is a three-masted schooner, with four sails: a fore sail, main sail, mizzen sail, and a large red jib at the front, or bow, of the boat. And every chance we get we throw up some canvas!

After your dive, we’ll throw off the mooring and call for volunteers to help raise sails. If you’ve never been sailing before and want to try your hand, step on up and our crew will guide you through the proper steps, from hauling the sail, cranking the winch, making off the halyard, and sheeting the sails. If you’d rather just sit back, relax, and watch all the action, by all means! Its quite a sight. Your participation is not required, but if you want to learn, we are more than happy to teach!

Once the sails are properly trimmed, our course is set, let the wind fill the sails while you take the helm and sail away to our next adventure!
