The presentations given by the marine biologist are always interesting and top notch. The are very educational and one of the best offerings on the boat!

An Education Vacation
A unique amenity on board Juliet are our daily marine life talks. You won’t be able to find this on any other diving liveaboard!
Every morning between dives, our onboard marine biologist will offer educational presentations on anything from basic fish identification to how a shark’s Ampulae of Lorenzini work, to the details of the current Lionfish Invasion, to why a dolphin looks like it is always smiling! We know you’re on vacation so each presentation is optional of course, but we find most divers won’t miss a minute of “school;” make it an Education Vacation!
Before most dives, the marine biologist will also provide you with a scavenger hunt – a particular fish that has been closely followed and researched and maybe is only found at this dive site, or can be found mating this time of day, or has a unique behavior you should look for. She will give you tips and tricks on how to take better pictures of Yellowheaded Jawfish, or how to find a cleaning station. By the end of the week you will be well-versed in the details of various kinds of marine life and you’ll be amazed at how much your diving will be enriched by the knowledge you’ve gained.
Our marine biologist is also always available to you for questions about what you see on your dives. Bring back a picture of a strange-looking creature, or describe it in depth to our marine biologist to work out what it is. But beware, she’s pretty hard to stump!
