At Juliet Sailing and Diving, we pride ourselves on the quality of our crew, always providing safety, fun, entertainment, and enthusiasm on your Bahamas, Florida Keys, or Virgin Islands liveaboard diving vacation package. While our main focus is safety, your crew will also provide you with the highest level of service, professionalism, knowledge, and experience while making you feel like part of the diving family!
Captain
Our captains are some of the most experienced in the dive industry, many with over ten years of experience. All of our captains are required to be at least 150 ton United States Coast Guard Masters which means they’ve endured rigorous training and testing to ensure the highest level of safety and knowledge. But they are certainly not all work and no play! They are also experienced free divers and knowledgeable scuba divers as well – ask your captain to take you spearfishing! You won’t be disappointed.
Chef
Arguably the most important person on the boat, our chefs are highly qualified and have years of experience in professional kitchens and on the water. The most common comment we get is that guests assume they’ll lose weight on a dive trip, taking into consideration all the exercise they will get. But not on Juliet! Our guests are well fed, breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, and everything in between!
Dive Master
Also our safety officers, all of our dive masters are Certified SCUBA instructors, most of them able to teach multiple specialties. They are fully trained in CPR and First Aid (if not CPR Instructors!), and again have many years of experience. They are passionate about what they do, sharing their love for the ocean with the guests.
Engineer
Another position we don’t mess around with is the engineer, who will always be professional, experienced, and love what they do. Especially if it involves bilge water, engine oil, and power tools – the more grease the better!
Marine Biologist
Not every liveaboard has a biologist on board – but we do! Every morning in between dives you’ll be offered an educational presentation about anything from corals, to fish identification, to wild dolphins, and maybe even some nighttime astronomy. Our Biologist is at your service with answers to all your flora and fauna questions. They will also send you off on scavenger hunts every dive, telling you interesting little tidbits about the different resident creatures on that particular dive. Go ahead, try to find every fish of the dive, we dare you!
